This project was created to confront femicide and help reduce all forms of violence against women.
Through research and technology, our mission is to offer an updated data base to give visibility to femicide cases and strengthen protection networks.
What is femicide?
Femicide is the killing of women based on gender. It is the most extreme expression of gender-based violence, revealing a scenario of structural vulnerability that permeates family, intimate, and social relationships marked by historical inequalities. It is urgent to break the silence, report, and fight for changes that save lives.
